The first Big 12 player availability report has been released for Kansas football’s game Saturday at home against rival-Kansas State. Check it out.

All of the work that Chris Klieman and the Kansas State football staff have done on the recruiting trail this cycle so far came back in the summer. Each of the Wildcats’ 16 commits joined the fold from April-July.

Kansas State owns a 26-4 record against the Jayhawks dating back to 1995 and the Wildcats are currently on a 16-year winning streak against KU. The last time Kansas beat K-State was in 2008 under former head coach Mark Mangino. It was the fourth win in five years against KSU, as the Mangino-led Jayhawks also won in 2004, 2006, and 2007.

Kansas was beaten by Texas Tech 42-17 on Saturday, Oct. 11. Daniels led Kansas with 255 yards on 27-of-33 passing (81.8%) for two touchdowns and no interceptions. Daniel Hishaw Jr. had 53 rushing yards on eight carries. Cam Pickett had six receptions for 82 yards.
