London Southend Airport said on Wednesday that it had partially reopened after flights to and from the airport were suspended following a plane crash that killed four foreign nationals. A U.S.-built Beechcraft B200 Super King Air plane had been bound for the Netherlands on Sunday when it crashed shortly after takeoff.
Aerial pictures showed the aftermath of a plane crash at London Southend Airport. Essex Police said it was alerted to a 12m (39ft) plane on fire at the site shortly before 16:00 BST on Sunday. Footage taken from a helicopter showed a large area of charred ground and the remains the aircraft.
