According to USA Today's Power Outage Tracker, there are a total of 48,997 outages in over 60 counties as of 8:16 a.m., with the most outages being in Glynn County, a coastal region in southeastern Georgia.

As a historic winter storm hit Florida and Georgia on Tuesday and into Wednesday morning, thousands were left without power.

More than 25,000 people in Glynn County have been affected, according to Georgia Power. Nassau County has about 3,419 customers without power and JEA is reporting more than 4,500 customers affected. Customers affected- 1,293

Additionally, Florida Power & Light websites show outages in the area, there are 1,150 outages in Bay County, 6 in Okaloosa County, and 1 in Walton.
