Deepti Sharma and Renuka Singh ripped through the West Indies Women’s batting to lead India’s Women to a comfortable five-wicket win and a sweep of the three-match One Day International (ODI) series at the Kotambi International Cricket Stadium on Friday.

India Women (IND-W) took on West Indies Women (WI-W) in the third ODI held at the Kotambi Stadium, in Vadodara, on December 27. West Indies Women won the toss and opted to bat first. Renuka Singh and Deepti Sharma held a tight grip on the game by sending West Indies top order into a frenzy.

Smriti Mandhana struck her fifth consecutive fifty-plus score to help India post 314/9 while Renuka Singh collected her maiden ODI five-for to help the Women in Blue bowl the West Indians out for a meagre 103.

The India Women have already secured the three-match ODI series against West Indies Women with an unassailable 2-0 lead and will aim for a 3-0 clean-sweep as they gear up for the third and the final ODI.
