At the end of a seven-day trial at Kingston Crown Court, Australian captain Sam Kerr has been found not guilty of the racially aggravated harassment of a police officer.

The judge cautioned Kerr that “her own behaviour” in the police station had contributed to the case being brought in the first place.

Nearly two years after being involved “an incident involving a police officer who was responding to a complaint involving a taxi fare on 30 January 2023 in Twickenham”, Chelsea striker Sam Kerr has been cleared of all charges by a unanimous jury decision on Tuesday.
