A Michigan man has been arrested after missing his flight to Los Angeles and calling in a fake bomb threat after being made to book another flight, officials said.

A Spirit Airlines customer was arrested for phoning in a fake bomb threat after missing his flight and being made to rebook, authorities said. John Charles Robinson, 23, was told he’d need to rebook at the gate after he arrived late for Flight 2145 from Detroit to Los Angeles last Thursday.
