A member of Bruce Springsteen’s legendary E Street Band underwent emergency surgery in Europe earlier this week after mistaking appendicitis for food poisoning.

Steven Van Zandt shared an Instagram post revealing he underwent emergency surgery for appendicitis. He said the surgery was "a complete success."
