Pakistan’s call to boycott the pivotal match against India in the upcoming T-20 World Cup has created ripples amid the cricketing fraternity. Hours after Pakistan decided to boycott the group match, ICC firmly criticized the management’s decision warning PCB of long-term repercussions.

Put in to bat after Pakistan won the toss, India began positively, racing to 47 without loss. However, Md Sayyam turned the game in Pakistan’s favour in the eighth over, removing Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (30 off 22 balls) and skipper Ayush Mhatre (0 off 2 balls) in the space of three deliveries.

Insered to bat first, India U19 were bundled out for just 252 in 49.5 overs and Pakistan needed to chase down the total in less than 33.3 overs to topple India in the Super 6 Group B points table.
