DALLAS — Former Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy has reportedly landed another NFL head coaching job. And it's a big one. McCarthy's hometown Pittsburgh Steelers are planning to hire him, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Saturday.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have "verbally agreed" with Mike McCarthy to become their next head coach, the team announced in a statement Saturday afternoon.

Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith is expected to take the same role at Ohio State, as reported by ESPN’s Pete Thamel on Saturday.
