Elon Musk said in an interview at the Qatar Economic Forum that he was committed to leading Tesla until at least the end of the decade.

Musk told an economic gathering that he wants to own more shares of the company in order to hold greater sway in key decisions.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk isn't going anywhere— at least not willingly. According to Musk himself, during an appearance at the Qatar Economic Forum this week, the CEO casually announced that he has plans to lead Tesla for at least five more years. That is, "unless I die," he added, almost as if it were an engineering problem he hadn't yet solved.
