Since Hubert Davis became UNC’s head coach in April 2021, he has maintained a preference for only having former Tar Heels on his staff.
The hire comes three weeks after head coach Hubert Davis declared on the Carolina Insider podcast in early February his intentions to hire a general manager.
North Carolina coach Hubert Davis has another two years on his deal and a new general manager to help the men's basketball program deal with the changing landscape of college athletics. Davis has signed a two-year extension running through the 2029-30 season to lead his alma mater.
