The Blue Jays have signed a pitcher to a minor league contract that includes an invite to Major League spring training.

While the Toronto Blue Jays' bullpen struggled last year, it seems like the team's front office felt good about how some of the pieces pitched last year. They showed that sentiment earlier this offseason when they brought Yimi García back and they showed it Thursday by bringing back Ryan Yarbrough on a minor league contract.

Despite being just two days away from the start of Spring Training games, the Toronto Blue Jays continued making additions to their organization, reportedly signing left-handed pitcher Ryan Yarbrough to a minor league deal (pending a physical) with an invite to Spring Training.

Toronto flipped outfielder Kevin Kiermaier and cash to the Dodgers at last year’s deadline, with Yarbrough heading the other way in that deal. The southpaw filled a long relief role for the Jays after that swap,
