The Seattle Seahawks have beaten the Houston Texans 27-19 to cap tonight’s “Monday Night Football” doubleheader. The Seahawks led wire-to-wire despite losing the turnover battle 4-1. Jaxon Smith-Njigba had the standout performance with eight catches for 123 yards and one touchdown.
After going down hard in the second quarter, Mike Evans has been ruled out of the game with both a concussion and a right shoulder injury. Evans was carted off to the locker room for more tests; per the ESPN broadcast, Evans is in "excruciating pain."
Falcons running back Bijan Robinson has averaged 9.1 yards per touch in his last two games and has produced 100 or more yards from scrimmage in every game this season. If he were to continue on his current pace, Robinson would finish with 2,794 yards from scrimmage, the most in NFL history. (The record holder, Chris Johnson, gained 2,509 in 2009.)
