LONDON -- Russia overnight launched a heavy air attack on Ukraine -- including striking Kyiv with drones and ballistic missiles -- that killed at least six people, including two children.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) presented its latest “Sea Baby” maritime unmanned platforms—which it said could travel more than 900 miles, operate anywhere in the Black Sea, carry heavier weapons and use artificial intelligence for precision strikes. Newsweek has contacted the SBU for further comment.

A Ukrainian drone attack on Russia's Orenburg gas plant has forced neighbouring Kazakhstan to reduce production at its Karachaganak oil and gas condensate field by 25% to 30%, two industry sources told Reuters on Monday.
