Ohio State receiver Brandon Inniss did return after an earlier injury. Quarterback Julian Sayin completed his first 10 passes before an incompletion. Wisconsin's defense got a much-needed third-down stop to hold the Buckeyes to a 37-yard field goal.
"Fire Fickell" chants again broke out at Camp Randall Stadium during the loss to Ohio State and former players continue to be upset with the direction of program.
Ohio State had 271 yards of offense in the first half, with Julian Sayin completing 23 of 26 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns. On the flip side, Hunter Simmons was 5 of 8 for 49 yards, while the Badgers ran the ball inefficiently once again, going for 20 yards on 16 attempts.
