An alleged stabbing is to blame for causing a five-car crash in Schenectady Thursday night. One person is in critical condition as a result, Schenectady Police said.

An 18-year-old from Ridgefield was killed in an accident involving a log splitter, according to police. The incident happened Wednesday evening just over the state line in South Salem, New York. Officers responded to a home there around 6:30 p.

An earlier accident caused the A34 to be blocked with diversions on adjoining roads and bus routes. National Express West Midlands is now reporting that the incident has cleared and services 29, 31, 32 & X51 are following their normal line of route after their earlier diversions. Some disruption is expected whilst traffic gets back to normal.
