Ran Carthon is out after 2 seasons as GM of the Tennessee Titans, ending one of the least successful eras in team history.

The Tennessee Titans announced the firing of general manager Ran Carthon on Tuesday, just days after the Titans finished as the worst team in the NFL and with the No. 1 pick. The shocking firing further displays how far the Titans have fallen as a franchise.

Everything always gets crazy during the final week of the NFL regular season, and this year was no different. It lasted all the way until the final game of Week 18 to determine what the 2025 NFL playoff picture would look like with Wild Card Weekend ahead.

Well, the 2024 NFL regular season is coming to an end in Week 18 and all of the games will no longer matter once the playoff field is set. Every team's new goal will go from making the postseason to winning the Super Bowl.

And while the current NFL playoff picture is pretty clear in AFC (six of the seven teams have clinched spots) and the NFC (one spot is available), that means there are still squads that are very much alive heading into the final week of regular-season action.
