An amber weather warning is in place across most of north Wales as Storm Éowyn hits the country.

A series of new weather alerts, including an amber “danger to life” warning, has been issued by the Met Office as Storm Éowyn is forecast to barrel into the UK with 90mph winds and rain. The fresh amber warning for wind will stretch from the North West and northern Wales to Scotland and Northern Ireland on Friday from 6am to 9pm.
