Wednesday's practice in Uptown Charlotte was, by far, the most competitive and contentious of the summer. From hard-fought one-on-one battles to a very lively 11-on-11 session, the Panthers broke out their claws and simply got after it.

First- round rookie Tetairoa McMillan is expected to be the standout wide receiver in the Carolina Panthers room. With veterans Adam Thielen and Hunter Renfrow and young, decent talents like Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker, all eyes are on McMillan.

In the final three games last season, Panthers quarterback Bryce Young threw for 612 yards with seven touchdowns and no interceptions and ran for 100 yards and two touchdowns. His passing-efficiency rating was 111.6. Before those games, Young’s career passing-efficiency rating was 73.6.
