President Donald Trump posthumously awarded conservative icon Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom - the highest civilian honor. The ceremony was held in the Rose Garden at the White House on what would have been Kirk's 32nd birthday.

During his tribute to Kirk, who was fatally shot last month during an event at Utah Valley University, Trump went off-script to boast about his own skills in surviving the 2024 assassination attempt on his own life at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The Trump administration has revoked the visas of six foreigners deemed by U.S. officials to have made derisive comments or made light of the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk last month.
