FEMA has had disaster survivor assistance teams canvassing the 63 Georgia counties hit hard by the storm. Their teams were in southeast Atlanta passing out flyers and talking with homeowners who may not know they qualify for assistance.

Tennesseans who experienced damages from Tropical Storm Helene have two weeks to apply for federal disaster assistance.
