Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka has lost in the French Open’s first round to 10th-seeded Paula Badosa 6-7 (1), 6-1, 6-4

Naomi Osaka's appearance at the French Open turned out to be a brief one, as she lost her opening-round match to No. 10 Paula Badosa on Monday.

Despite being the underdog, Osaka got out to a strong start. She took Badosa to a seventh game, and actually won the first set 7-6. Osaka, who showed up in an all-pink outfit, managed to take the first set despite chipping a nail.
