Dante Moore may be Raiders' QB of the future
NFL scouts currently agree that Moore is the hands-on favorite to be QB2 if he declares for the draft. It's worth noting the Giants and Raiders are scheduled to play in Week 17. The outcome will have a drastic impact on the final draft order.
The Giants emerged from their Week 14 bye with the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft — for now. There are now three 2-11 teams at the top of the draft order, because the Titans won Sunday — Giants, Raiders and Tennessee. Like the Giants, the Raiders have lost seven straight games. Raiders had very good day in terms of 2026 NFL Draft position
The Raiders may have had another very bad day on the field, things could not have gone better in their battle for draft position.
The New York Giants and New York Jets were recently predicted to pull off a blockbuster trade in the 2026 NFL draft that would allow the latter to move up for a franchise quarterback.

With four games to go in the regular season, the Las Vegas Raiders are at the front of the line for the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Giants finally are No. 1 in something: the NFL Draft order. Joe Schoen’s Giants (2-11) would hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft if the season ended now after Week 14 of the 2025 season. They hold that spot over the No. 2 Raiders (2-11) and No. 3 Titans (2-11) at the moment due to the Giants’ easier strength of schedule to date.
In Dane Brugler’s mock draft for The Athletic, he projects the Raiders to trade with the New York Giants for the No. 2 pick. With that pick, Las Vegas would select Oregon quarterback Dante Moore.
