Jordan Love received a large chunk of blame on social media for the way the season ended, but others took a look at a bigger picture.

The Packers lost to the Eagles in the NFC Wild Card Round but despite having a bad game Jordan Love didn't use injury as an excuse.

Love exited Green Bay's regular season finale after landing hard on his elbow. He was limited during practice early into the week to due soreness in his elbow, and he had also noted that he was experiencing numbness in his throwing hand. A few days later, he was completely off the injury report, which cleared the way for him to start Sunday's game.

Love suffered the injury early in last Sunday's game against the Bears and was limited in Wednesday's practice.

While Love's health was in question this week, the Packers also hope to see a strengthened defense as linebacker Quay Walker (ankle) and safety Evan Williams (quadriceps), who each missed the last three regular-season games, are expected to return.
