Lanai Dees was driving her white Mercedes Benz in an alley off Century Boulevard in the Westmont neighborhood last November when someone in a dark-colored SUV opened fire, investigators said Thursday.

On Sunday, November 17, 2024, at approximately 12:40 A.M., 21-year-old, Lanai Dees, was killed near the 2000 block of West Century Boulevard, in the city of Los Angeles.

A $10,000 reward is offered for information on the murder of Lanai Dees, a 21-year-old nursing student shot in Los Angeles. Her family and officials seek leads.

The shooting left Lanai Dees, a 21-year-old Inglewood woman, dead on Nov. 17, 2024 at around 12:40 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
