Cowboys Wire on MSNCowboys open camp down $15 million of talent as three CBs, LB start on PUP/NFI listsDiggs, Overshown, and CBs Josh Butler and Shavon Revel, Jr. are all rehabbing serious knee injures. None was expected to be ready to go on Day 1.
The Dallas Cowboys announced players who will begin training camp on the physically unable to perform (PUP) and non-football injury (NFI) lists.
Christian Watson and Quay Walker are among those opening camp on the PUP list, while Elgton Jenkins is the notable name on the NFI list for the Packers.
To refresh, PUP (physically unable to perform) means the injury is football-related. NFI is a non-football injury which could mean anything. Last year, Christian Mahogany missed all of camp on NFI due to mono. Just as important as who is on the lists is who is NOT on the lists. Their absence from the lists means they are healthy and ready-to-go.
Quay Walker, who has led the Packers in tackles each of the last two seasons, will start training camp on the physically unable to perform list.

Yardbarker on MSNInjury list designation raises concerns about Bears' Pro Bowl DBChicago Bears two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Jaylon Johnson was among four players placed on the team's active/non-football injury (NFI) list on Saturday.
The Chargers were the first team to open training camp this season, and they also have a lot of movement with their roster. Mike Williams informed the Chargers on Thursday that he plans to retire, and running back Najee Harris was placed on the active/non-football list due to an eye injury.
Najee Harris is still recovering from a superficial eye injury after a fireworks incident, forcing the Chargers RB onto the NFI list to begin camp.
