The young South African fended off a crowded leaderboard at Detroit Golf Club to snag his first trophy in the big leagues as he finished the tournament at 22 under before he made birdie on the fifth playoff hole to defeat 40-year-old Chris Kirk and playing partner Max Greyserman.
