FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas Razorbacks got premier bullpen performances Sunday and a little breathing room with a ninth inning rally to hold off then-No. 4 LSU 7-4 in Baton Rouge. Arkansas salvaged the final game of the series after falling 5-4 in 10 innings and 13-3 in 7 innings, and avoided its first SEC sweep since 2023.

Baseball America had the Tigers ranked sixth coming into the week, but they made a massive jump to the top of their rankings after their series win over Arkansas. They surpassed the Georgia Bulldogs, Texas Longhorns, Arkansas Razorbacks, North Carolina Tar Heels and the Auburn Tigers for the top spot.
