Authorities are investigating after a woman reported missing was found dead in a suitcase along the Saw Mill River Parkway in Westchester, according to reports. The body was found on Thursday, March 6,

NYPD officials said officers found the woman, who had been missing from an apartment on Morris Avenue near East 182nd Street in Fordham Heights, by the Saw Mill River Parkway around 10 a.m. Emergency medical workers arrived and pronounced her dead on the scene.

Victim Pamela Alcantara was last seen around 2 a.m. on Sunday in her apartment that she shared with her boyfriend on Morris Ave. near E. 179th St. in Morris Heights, police said.
