A Miami police officer shot a driver near Bayfront Park during a music festival Sunday after the vehicle made contact with the officer, authorities said.

Police said a Mustang's driver lost control trying to pass another vehicle illegally and veered off the road, crashing into the house. The driver now faces several traffic violations.
