All eyes will be on west London this week as Newcastle United await to see whether transfer target Yoane Wissa returns to training with Brentford. Wissa left the club’s Portugal training camp near Lisbon last week as crunch talks were arranged with club chief Phil Giles to thrash out his future.

As per talkSPORT, Wissa believes Brentford have broken a verbal pact made last summer that would allow him to leave for around £26million. Newcastle have indicated that they are willing to raise their rejected £25m bid to £30m plus add-ons but have been told that the player is not available, setting an asking price of £50m+.
