A chant comparing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to the Ku Klux Klan was heard in the streets of New York City Saturday amid the global "No Kings" protests being held to challenge President Donald Trump.

"No Kings" organizers are expecting tens of thousands of people from the suburbs and city neighborhoods to participate in a peaceful protest Saturday beginning at Butler Field in Grant Park.

With thousands of "No Kings" protests planned around the U.S. this weekend, many are expected to take place in Chicago and surrounding suburbs as the city continues to grapple with immigration enforcement efforts from President Donald Trump's administration.

The two anti-ICE protesters — who are engaged — allegedly “refused to retreat” during a Sept. 27 protest outside an ICE facility in the Chicago suburb of Broadview.

Illinois State Police, the Cook County Sheriff’s Office and the Broadview Police Department have arrested around 70 people at Broadview protests.
