CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns let Mike Vrabel out of his consulting agreement early on Monday so he could get a jump on the 2025 head coaching cycle, and five days later, he’s interviewing for the Jets’ vacancy today.

Mike Vrabel will not be the next head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, according to a team insider. The parties do not have an interview set.

Mike Vrabel is one of the hottest names on the NFL coaching market during this hiring cycle. Vrabel, 49, who spent this season as a consultant with the Cleveland Browns, was previously a head coach with the Tennessee Titans from 2018-23.
