This long-duration comet will make its closest approach to Earth this fall, before disappearing into the outer solar system for another 1,000 years.
According to Meteorologist Eric Snitil in New York, the comet will be brighter this week. The meteorologist with WROC in Rochester, N.Y., said the best way to see Comet Lemmon, also known as Comet C/2025 A6, is to head out after sunset and get away from the city lights.
