Former OU football linebacker Danny Stutsman was taken with the No. 112 overall pick in the fourth round by the New Orleans Saints in the 2025 NFL Draft on Saturday.

The Saints finished 5-12 last season, their worst year since going 3-13 in 2005. New Orleans hired former Eagles OC Kellen Moore as the new head coach for 2025. The Saints have missed the playoffs in each of the last four seasons and now have the youngest head coach in the league in the 36-year-old Moore.

Stutsman is the Saints' first linebacker selection in the 2025 draft. Earlier in the draft, New Orleans picked offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. (Texas) in the first round, quarterback Tyler Shough (Louisville) in the second round and defensive tackle Vernon Broughton (Texas) and safety Jonas Sanker (Virginia) in the third round.
