The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for the Ruidoso area where "rapidly rising floodwaters" are being reported Thursday.

Swift water rescues are being reported as flash flooding begins to impact parts of Ruidoso. According to reports from the National Weather Service, two separate water rescues happened near Ruidoso.
