Domestic flights in India have just been reborn, thanks to in-flight Wi-Fi services, which have commenced on Air India's narrowbody fleet, ensuring uninterrupted entertainment for passengers on these flights.

Tata Group airline Air India on Wednesday (January 1) rolled out free in-flight Wi-Fi services on domestic routes, making it the first air carrier providing in-flight internet connectivity within the country.

With the launch of in-flight WiFi service, Air India has become the first airline to provide in-flight connectivity within India. The company will also expand the service to other aircraft in its fleet.

Wi-Fi will be offered free of charge on domestic flights operated by select aircraft for a limited introductory period.

Air India has become the first Indian carrier to introduce in-flight Wi-Fi internet connectivity on domestic flights. Available on Airbus A350, Boeing 787-9, and select Airbus A321neo aircraft, this service allows passengers to stay connected while traveling within India.
