Browns to host the Minnesota Vikings in London

The Browns will take part in the NFL's international slate for the first time since 2017, traveling to London for a matchup with the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. It's the lone standalone slot for Cleveland, which was not given a prime-time game in 2025 after going 3-14 last season.
Turns out, going 3-14 and having no clear answer at quarterback doesn't make a team a big prime-time draw. Outside of the game in London against the Minnesota Vikings, the Browns have no current prime-time kickoffs, and only two 4 p.m. games, one of which is in Las Vegas.

The Minnesota Vikings will face the Cleveland Browns in an NFL International Series game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England, on Oct. 5, 2025.
Most recently, the Vikings defeated the New York Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. In that game during the 2024 season, Vikings edge rusher Andrew Van Ginkel memorably intercepted Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, then raced the other way for a touchdown.
With their final preseason game at home and Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals at home, Cleveland will have a chance to regroup following training camp without any travel. Before the trip to London, the Browns will only have away games to face the Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions, drivable trips for most fans.
Cleveland needs to avoid falling into a hole to start the season to help save Kevin Stefanski's job.

Former Colorado Buffaloes stars Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter will both visit London during their rookie seasons in the NFL this fall. Sanders' Cleveland Browns will challenge the Minnesota Vikings and Hunter's Jags will face the Los Angeles Rams.
