Alabama football defended its home stadium successfully on Saturday, avenging last season’s loss to Tennessee with a 37-20 win over the Volunteers. The Crimson Tide not only beat Tennessee, but Alabama also achieved some SEC history. No. 6 Alabama defeated No. 11 Tennessee 37-20 at Bryant-Denny Stadium, which marked the fourth consecutive win over a ranked opponent for the Crimson Tide (6-1, 4-0 SEC).
