Wednesday marks one month since the body of 21-year-old U.S. Navy sailor Angelina Resendiz was discovered in a wooded area of Norfolk’s Broad Creek neighborhood.

The two-page memo includes details regarding Resendiz’s mother, Esmeralda Castle, and the timeline of communication she received while her daughter was absent.

Media were not allowed inside the ceremony, but her mother, Esmeralda Castle, described it as emotional and healing.
