The standard engine on the Explorer Tremor is a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost producing 300 horsepower. Buyers can opt for a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 400 hp and 415 pound-feet of torque —the same engine found in the sporty Explorer ST. Both engines work with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
