The Indiana Fever just can't catch a break. Amid Caitlin Clark's lengthy absence due to a groin issue, the team suffered another blow to its backcourt with two season-ending injuries. Veteran guards Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald have been ruled out for the rest of the campaign due to the injuries they sustained during Thursday's game against the Phoenix Mercury.

The Fever entered Thursday night's matchup at the Phoenix Mercury riding a 5-2 record since July 19, but Indiana left Phoenix beaten and battered following season-ending injuries to guards Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald in the 95-60 blowout loss.
