Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner said human remains that were found over the weekend were confirmed to belong to Scott by DNA.
It’s not yet clear how Kada Scott died, but a law enforcement source said police believe she was likely killed within 30 minutes of leaving her workplace the night she disappeared.
A real estate developer who offered to buy the property in 2021 said Philadelphia's moves to clean up the site now are "too little too late."
