Disney's Lilo & Stitch has crossed the $1B mark at the worldwide box office, now with $1.001B through Wednesday. The sweet little girl and her mischievous blue alien finally give Hollywood its first billion-dollar movie of 2025 with Lilo & Stitch the only studio film so far this year to reach the milestone.

The live-action blockbuster is the first Hollywood film to join the billion-dollar club since fellow Disney 2024 family pic 'Moana 2' over Thanksgiving in 2024.

A Minecraft Movie — which is now available to stream with a Max subscription — maintains the gold (maybe Netherite would be more appropriate?) medal with $423.9 million in the U.S. and Canada, compared to Lilo & Stitch ’s $403.7 million.
