The creators of Secret Level have revealed they pitched a Master Chief/Doom Slayer crossover episode that was turned down. Season 1's 15 episodes are each based on a different video game, some of which are pretty surprising picks for an animated adaptation.
Secret Level Pitched a Halo/Doom Crossover Episode But Got Rejected
The man behind Prime Video's video game anthology series, together with executive producer Dave Wilson, is speaking on the rejection of a pitch he made for an ambitious Master Chief/Doom Slayer crossover episode, one that would bring together two of the most iconic video games of all time in Halo and Doom.
Secret Level TV Show Team Tried To Get A Master Chief/Doom Slayer Crossover
Microsoft does have an existing deal with Netflix for Gears of War adaptations, but the Halo TV series at Paramount has ended. There are no publicly revealed Doom adaptations, but a report said Peacock was pursuing a deal for a Doom live-action series. GameSpot has contacted Microsoft in an attempt to get more details on this situation.

Secret Level is an animated anthology show that reimagines a handful of iconic games - from Pac-Man and Spelunky to Armored Core and The Outer Worlds - in small, self-contained episodes, but the series' creators had originally pitched a badass-sounding crossover between Halo's Master Chief and the self-titled Doom Slayer that sadly never came to be.
