The clock is getting louder for Michigan State athletic director J Batt to make a decision on the future of Spartans football coach Jonathan Smith.

DETROIT. (WILX) - Michigan State football leads Maryland 24-7 at halftime in the teams’ season finale at Ford Field in Detroit. Michigan State got the ball first and drove right down the field, culminating in a one-yard touchdown pass from Alessio Milivojevic to Kai Rios. The score was Rios’ first catch as a Spartan.

As pressure continues to mount for a struggling Michigan State team, fans are calling for a change in leadership.

Despite getting sacked 14 times in his first three starts, Michigan State football redshirt freshman Alessio Milivojevic feels more comfortable at QB.
