Down but apparently never, ever out, the Frost reached the PWHL playoffs for a second consecutive season and will defend their inaugural Walter Cup title after Saturday’s resounding 8-1 victory at Boston.

Jaques added an assist for a game-high three points, and her second goal gave the Frost a 7-0 lead 15:09 into the third period. The Fleet needed just one point to earn their second straight playoff berth, but Minnesota took a 3-0 first period lead on goals by Curl-Salemme, Lee Stecklein and Kendall Coyne Schofield and never looked back.

Britta Curl-Salemme and Sophie Jacques each scored two goals and the Minnesota Frost tied a PWHL record for goals scored in a game beating the Boston Fleet 8-1 clinching the final playoff berth.
