A ballistic missile launched from Yemen was intercepted after air raid sirens were sounded across Israel, according to the military.
Yemen's Houthi militant group said on Tuesday it had launched a ballistic missile at Israel's Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv.
Saree said the operation achieved its objective, forcing millions to flee to shelters and halting airport operations.
“Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted by the IAF,” the Israeli military reported on Telegram.
