July 24 (UPI) -- Bleecker Street released the trailer for Spinal Tap II: The End Begins on Thursday. The sequel premieres Sept. 12 in theaters. Paul McCartney appears as himself praising Spinal Tap's lyrics as "literature." Questlove appears on Zoom, refusing the join the band as drummer given the fatalities of all previous drummers.

Elton John, Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will all appear on “The End Continues,” the upcoming album for the highly anticipated sequel “Spinal Tap II: The End Continues.”

The long-awaited first trailer for the equally long-awaited sequel to This Is Spinal Tap is finally available. The two-minute clip for Spinal Tap II: The End Continues features cameos from Paul McCartney, Elton John and Roots drummer Questlove, and finds the band older, none the wiser, and preparing to play a reunion show in New Orleans.
