Ken Paxton, the Attorney General of Texas, has called for the "immediate" arrest of all the Texas state Democrats who fled Austin in order to block the GOP vote on the proposed redistricting plan.

Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said Monday on Fox Business’ “The Bottom Line” that Democrats fleeing the state to avoid a vote on redistricting will face consequences either from the state House or from the state’s Supreme Court.

As soon as Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) vowed to oust, arrest and replace Democratic state lawmakers who left Texas to slow down Republican lawmakers’ efforts to redraw state congressional maps in their political favor, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton made a big show of backing Abbott’s attempted display of strength.
